Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says, "I was ill but the son of Adam did not visit Me. I was thirsty but the son of Adam did not give Me water to drink." I said, "O Lord! Do You also become ill?" The reply was given: "When one of My servants on earth becomes ill and he is not visited, if My servant goes to visit him, he receives the same reward as if he had visited Me. And when one of My servants on earth is thirsty and is not given water, if someone gives him water, he receives the same reward as if he had given Me water."
