حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَوَّابِ الضَّبِّيُّ الْأَحْوَصُ بْنُ جَوَّابٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ زُرَيْقٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي أُحَدِّثُ نَفْسِي بِالْحَدِيثِ، لَأَنْ أَخِرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ، قَالَ: " ذَلِكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: A man came to the court of Prophethood and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), such thoughts and whispers come to my heart that I would prefer to fall down from the sky rather than utter them with my tongue (what should I do?)" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This is clear faith."
