Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty says, "Fasting is exclusively for Me, and I Myself will give its reward." The fasting person experiences joy and happiness at two occasions: when he breaks his fast, he is happy, and when he meets Allah and Allah grants him his reward, he will also be happy. By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad (ﷺ), the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
