Muhammad bin Ja'far says that a man met Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was performing Tawaf of the Ka'bah. He said, "O Abu Hurairah! Have you forbidden people from fasting on Friday?" He replied, "By the Lord of the House (Ka'bah), no! Rather, Muhammad (ﷺ) has forbidden it."
