Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَمْروٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: مَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَ خَلْقِي، فَلْيَخْلُقْ ذَرَّةً، أَوْ حَبَّةً "، وَقَالَ يَحْيَى مَرَّةً: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " وَمَنْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty says, "Who can be more unjust than the one who tries to create like Me? Such people should try to create a particle or a grain."
