Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَغَارُ، وَمِنْ غَيْرَةِ اللهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا حُرِّمَ عَلَيْهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the same chain that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty is protective, and Allah’s protectiveness is that a person should not go near the things that Allah has forbidden.
