حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنِ اشْتَرَى شَاةً مُصَرَّاةً، فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ، إِنْ شَاءَ رَدَّهَا وَصَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever buys a goat (being deceived) whose udders have been tied, then he should either keep the animal with himself (and settle the matter) or return the animal to its owner and along with it give one sa’ of dates.
