حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ الْقَعْقَاعِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ وَاسْمُهُ هَرِمُ (٤) بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " انْتَدَبَ اللهُ، ، لِمَنْ خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ، لَا يُخْرِجُهُ إِلَّا جِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَإِيمَانًا بِي، وَتَصْدِيقًا بِرُسُلِي، أَنَّهُ عَلَيَّ ضَامِنٌ أَنْ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، أَوْ أُرْجِعَهُ إِلَى مَسْكَنِهِ الَّذِي خَرَجَ مِنْهُ، نَائِلًا مَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty has taken it upon Himself regarding the person who sets out in His path, that if he sets out only with the intention of striving in My path, having faith in Me and affirming My Messenger, then it is My responsibility to admit him into Paradise, or to return him to his place of residence in such a state that he has obtained reward or spoils of war.
