حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، وَلَا أُرَانِي إِلَّا قَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ، اللهُمَّ، أَرْشِدِ الْأَئِمَّةَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: The imam is responsible and the muezzin is trustworthy. O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the muezzins.
