حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الدِّيلِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْغَيْثِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ، أَنَا وَهُوَ كَهَاتَيْنِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، إِذَا اتَّقَى اللهَ "، وَأَشَارَ مَالِكٌ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The one who takes care of an orphan child, whether his own or someone else's, I and he will be in Paradise like this, provided that he fears Allah. Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) gestured with his index and middle fingers.
