حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ، وَالْكُفْرُ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَالسَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ، وَالْفَخْرُ وَالرِّيَاءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ أَهْلِ (١) الْخَيْلِ وَالْوَبَرِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The faith of the people of Yemen is very excellent; disbelief is towards the east. Calmness and tranquility are found among those who keep sheep, while pride and show-off are found among the owners of horses and camels.
