Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Do you know who is the bankrupt?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "O Messenger of Allah! Among us, the bankrupt is the one who has neither any money nor any belongings." The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The bankrupt of my Ummah will be the one who will come on the Day of Judgment with prayers, fasting, and zakat, but he will have abused someone, accused someone falsely, consumed someone’s wealth unjustly. He will be made to sit, and his good deeds will be given to each of those (whom he wronged) as compensation. If his good deeds finish before the judgment is completed, then the sins of the claimants will be placed upon him, and then he will be thrown into Hell."
