حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا، فَسَمِعْنَا وَجْبَةً، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَتَدْرُونَ مَا هَذَا؟ " قُلْنَا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: " هَذَا حَجَرٌ أُرْسِلَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مُنْذُ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا، فَالْآنَ انْتَهَى إِلَى قَعْرِهَا " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day we were sitting with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) when we heard a loud sound. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do you know what this sound is?" We replied, "Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) know best." He said, "This is the sound of a stone which was thrown into Hell seventy years ago; that stone has now reached its bottom."
