Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِشِرَارِكُمْ؟ " فَقَالَ: " هُمُ الثَّرْثَارُونَ الْمُتَشَدِّقُونَ، أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخِيَارِكُمْ؟ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Shall I not tell you about the worst of people? Those who utter nonsense and mock others. Shall I not tell you about the best of people? Those among you who have the best character.
