حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَغْطِيَةِ الْوَضُوءِ، وَإِيكَاءِ السِّقَاءِ، وَإِكْفَاءِ الْإِنَاءِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) instructed us to cover the water for ablution at night before sleeping, to tie the mouth of the water-skin, and to turn the vessels upside down.
