حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ عُمَرَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، إِذَا حَدَّثَكَ سَعْدٌ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا فَلا تَسْأَلْ عَنْهُ غَيْرَهُ (٢) .،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin 'Umar, from Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to wipe over his khuffain. 'Abdullah bin 'Umar asked 'Umar about that and he said:
Yes, if Sa'd narrates some-thing to you from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), do not ask anyone else about it.
