حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " رَأَيْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَجُرُّ قُصْبَهُ فِي النَّارِ، وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ سَيَّبَ السَّائِبَةَ،، ، وَبَحَرَ الْبَحِيرَةَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: I saw Amr bin Amir Khuza'i in Hell dragging his intestines. He was the first person who established the custom of setting animals free in the name of idols and making Bahira.
