Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " جُزُّوا الشَّوَارِبَ، وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى، وَخَالِفُوا الْمَجُوسَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Trim the moustaches well and let the beard grow fully, and oppose the Magians.
