حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَكِيمِ (٢) قَائِدُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي، ، عَرُوبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَصَمُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَبِعَ جَنَازَةً، قَالَ: " انْبَسِطُوا بِهَا، وَلَا تَدِبُّوا دَبِيبَ الْيَهُودِ بِجَنَائِزِهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) attended a funeral, he would say: Walk with spaciousness, do not walk in the manner that the Jews walk with their funerals.
