حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ هُوَ ابْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَلَمْ تَرَوْا إِلَى مَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، قَالَ: مَا أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَى عِبَادِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ، إِلَّا أَصْبَحَ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ بِهَا كَافِرِينَ، يَقُولُونَ: الْكَوْكَبُ وَبِالْكَوْكَبِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "See what your Lord has said. He says: Whenever I bestowed blessings upon My servants, there was always a group among them who showed ingratitude for those blessings and kept saying, 'This is due to such-and-such star's influence,' and, 'This happened because of such-and-such star.'"
