حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا تَحْتَ ثَنِيَّةِ لِفْتٍ، طَلَعَ عَلَيْنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: " انْظُرْ مَنْ هَذَا؟ " قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: خَالِدُ بْنُ، ، الْوَلِيدِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نِعْمَ عَبْدُ اللهِ هَذَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we went out with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). When we reached below Thaniyyah Laffat, Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) appeared from the front. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "See, who is this?" I submitted, "It is Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him)." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "How beloved a servant of Allah he is."
