حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي: " قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: ابْنَ آدَمَ (١) ، تَفَرَّغْ لِعِبَادَتِي، أَمْلَأْ صَدْرَكَ غِنًى، وَأَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ، وَإِلَّا تَفْعَلْ، مَلَأْتُ صَدْرَكَ شُغْلًا، وَلَمْ أَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty says, "O son of Adam, free yourself for My worship, I will fill your chest with richness and I will close the door of poverty before you. If you do not do so, I will fill your chest with occupations and I will not remove your poverty."
