حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، بَاعَدَهُ اللهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ مَسِيرَةَ (٢) سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever fasts for one day for the sake of Allah's pleasure, Allah will distance him from Hell by a distance of seventy years.
