حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَوْ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: " فِي الْمَذْيِ الْوُضُوءُ، وَفِي الْمَنِيِّ الْغُسْلُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
I was a man who emitted a great deal of madhi, so I asked the Prophet (ﷺ), or he was asked about that, and he said: “For madhi do wudoo` and for mani do ghusl`
