حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يُونُسَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ "، فَقَالَ عُكَّاشَةُ بْنُ مِحْصَنٍ: ادْعُ اللهَ لِي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ (١) ، أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ مِنْهُمْ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ آخَرُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، ادْعُ اللهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ، قَالَ: " سَبَقَكَ (٢) بِهَا عُكَّاشَةُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
And it is narrated with the previous chain that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Seventy thousand people from my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning. Ukasha (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them. The Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed: O Allah, include him among them. Then another person stood up and made the same request, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Ukasha has preceded you.
