حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْأَسْوَدِ، يَقُولُ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، مَوْلَى شَدَّادٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: " مَنْ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَنْشُدُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ضَالَّةً، فَلْيَقُلْ لَهُ: لَا أَدَّاهَا اللهُ إِلَيْكَ، فَإِنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لَمْ تُبْنَ لِهَذَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: Whoever hears a person announcing a lost item in the mosque, he should say to him, "May Allah not return it to you," because mosques have not been built for such announcements.
