حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ مَوْتُ النَّجَاشِيِّ، صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ، وَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ، فَكَبَّرَ (٢) عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) received the news of the death of Najashi, the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) formed rows behind the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) led their funeral prayer and said four takbirs in it.
