حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً، فَإِذَا أَمْذَيْتُ اغْتَسَلْتُ، فَأَمَرْتُ الْمِقْدَادَ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَضَحِكَ وَقَالَ: " فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
I was a man who emitted a great deal of madhi, and if I emitted madhi I would do ghusl, I told al-Miqdad to ask the Prophet (ﷺ) about it. He smiled and said: `Wudoo’ is due for that.”
