حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " مَرَّ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِجِذْلِ شَوْكٍ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، فَقَالَ: لَأُمِيطَنَّ هَذَا الشَّوْكَ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ أَنْ لَا يَعْقِرَ رَجُلًا مُسْلِمًا "، قَالَ: " فَغُفِرَ لَهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: A man removed a thorny branch from the path of the Muslims so that no Muslim would be harmed by it, and due to this act, he was forgiven.
