Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ مُسْلِمَةٍ تُسَافِرُ لَيْلَةً، إِلَّا وَمَعَهَا رَجُلٌ ذُو حُرْمَةٍ مِنْهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: It is not permissible for any Muslim woman to travel for even one day without a mahram from her family.
