حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: سَعِّرْ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ يَخْفِضُ وَيَرْفَعُ، وَلَكِنِّي أَرْجُو (٢) أَنْ أَلْقَى اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدِي مَظْلِمَةٌ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man presented himself in the court of the Prophet and requested, "Fix the prices of things." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is Allah alone who makes things expensive and cheap, and I wish to meet Allah in such a state that there is no injustice from my side upon anyone."
