حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَقْرَبُكُمْ صَلَاةً بِرَسُولِ اللهِ، وَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَقْنُتُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ، وَصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ بَعْدَمَا يَقُولُ: سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، فَيَدْعُو لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَيَلْعَنُ الْكَافِرِينَ (٢) "، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that, by Allah! In prayer, I am the closest among all of you to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Abu Salamah says that Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite Qunoot Nazilah after saying "Sami' Allahu liman Hamidah" in the last rak'ah of the Isha and Fajr prayers, in which he would supplicate for the Muslims and invoke curses upon the disbelievers.
