حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ (١) بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: قَالَ لِي نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى كَلِمَةٍ كَنْزٍ مِنْ كَنْزِ (٢) الْجَنَّةِ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ؟ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي، قَالَ: " أَنْ تَقُولَ: لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ - قَالَ أَبُو بَلْجٍ: وَأَحْسَبُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ - فَإِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ: أَسْلَمَ عَبْدِي، وَاسْتَسْلَمَ (٣) " قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لِعَمْرٍو (٤) : قَالَ أَبُو بَلْجٍ: قَالَ عَمْرٌو: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي، ، هُرَيْرَةَ: لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ، فَقَالَ: " لَا، إِنَّهَا فِي سُورَةِ الْكَهْفِ: {وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ} [الكهف: ٣٩] "،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "O Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), shall I not teach you a word which is a treasure of Paradise and has come from beneath the Throne?" I said, "Certainly, may my parents be sacrificed for you." The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Say: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah." Upon hearing this, Allah says, "My servant has submitted and entrusted himself."
