Translation

English translation

Amr bin Azraq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a woman from the family of Marwan passed away. People came for the funeral, and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also arrived. There were women weeping with the funeral. Marwan was about to order them to be quiet when Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) stopped him and said that once a funeral passed by the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) with some women weeping with it. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), may Allah have mercy on him, scolded them, but the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "Leave them, for the heart is afflicted, the eyes are shedding tears, and the wound is still fresh."
