Musnad Ahmad Hadith 8380

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was with the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) in a market of Madinah Munawwarah. When the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) returned, I also came back with him. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) reached the courtyard of Fatimah’s (may Allah be pleased with her) house and began calling Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him), “O child, O child,” but no one replied. Upon this, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) returned from there and I also came back. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) came and sat in the courtyard of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). Meanwhile, Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) also arrived. Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says, “I think his mother had kept him back to put a necklace of cloves or something similar around his neck.” As soon as he came, he clung to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), and the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) also embraced him. Then, three times, he said, “O Allah, I love him, so You also love him, and love those who love him.”
