حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ فَرُّوخَ الضَّمْرِيُّ، مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ، يَحْلِفُ عِنْدَ هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ عَلَى يَمِينٍ آثِمَةٍ، وَلَوْ عَلَى سِوَاكٍ رَطْبٍ، إِلَّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ النَّارُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I bear witness that I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever, man or woman, swears a false oath near this pulpit, even if it is regarding a fresh miswak, Hell has become obligatory for him.
