حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ لَا يَرْجُو أَنْ يَلْبَسَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ " قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: " فَمَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَبْلُغُهُمْ هَذَا عَنْ نَبِيِّهِمْ؟ فَيَجْعَلُونَ حَرِيرًا فِي ثِيَابِهِمْ وَفِي بُيُوتِهِمْ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saying: In this world, only that person wears silk who does not hope to wear it in the Hereafter, and in this world, only that person wears silk who has no share in the Hereafter.
