حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ حُذَافَةَ السَّهْمِيَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي، فَجَهَرَ بِصَلَاتِهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا ابْنَ حُذَافَةَ، لَا تُسْمِعْنِي وَأَسْمِعْ رَبَّكَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Abdullah bin Huzafah Sahmi (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up to pray and began reciting in a loud voice. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Ibn Huzafah! Do not make me hear, make your Lord hear."
