Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا فَرْقَدٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ أَكْذَبَ النَّاسِ الصَّبَّاغُونَ وَالصَّوَّاغُونَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The greatest liars are dyers and goldsmiths.
