حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْمُبَارَكِيُّ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، جَارُ خَلَفٍ الْبَزَّارِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: " نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ، وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَمْرَاءِ (١) ، وَعَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الرُّكُوعِ، وَالسُّجُودِ " (٢)، ، •
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade me to wear gold rings, to wear red, and to recite Qur`an whilst bowing and prostrating.
