حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ , عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ , عَنْ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ (٥) ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ رِجَالٌ مِمَّنْ (٦) حَوْلِ الْمَسْجِدِ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الْعِشَاءَ، أَوْ لَأُحَرِّقَنَّ حَوْلَ بُيُوتِهِمْ بِحُزَمِ الْحَطَبِ " (٧)،
Translation
English translation
And it is narrated with the previous chain that once the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Those people living around the mosque who do not come for the Isha prayer should refrain from abandoning the prayer, otherwise I will gather bundles of wood at their houses and set them on fire.
