Original Arabic
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَبِعْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ، وَلَا يَخْطُبْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
And the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: None of you should sell over the sale of his brother, and no man should send a marriage proposal over the proposal of his brother.
