Original Arabic
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كُلُّ سُلَامَى مِنَ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ صَدَقَةٌ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ "، قَالَ: " تَعْدِلُ بَيْنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَتُعِينُ الرَّجُلَ فِي (١) دَابَّتِهِ تَحْمِلُهُ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ تَرْفَعُ لَهُ مَتَاعَهُ عَلَيْهَا صَدَقَةٌ "، وَقَالَ: " الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ صَدَقَةٌ "، وَقَالَ: " كُلُّ خُطْوَةٍ تَمْشِيهَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَتُمِيطُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
And the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: There is charity due on every joint of a person, and this is required every day as long as the sun rises. He also said: Reconciling between two people is charity, helping a man to mount his animal or lifting his belongings onto it is charity, a good word is charity, every step you take towards the mosque is charity, and removing something harmful from the road is charity.
