Original Arabic
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قَالَ اللهُ (٤) : إِذَا تَحَدَّثَ عَبْدِي بِأَنْ يَعْمَلَ حَسَنَةً، فَأَنَا أَكْتُبُهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً مَا لَمْ يَفْعَلْ، فَإِذَا عَمِلَهَا، فَأَنَا أَكْتُبُهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرِ (٥) أَمْثَالِهَا، وَإِذَا تَحَدَّثَ بِأَنْ يَفْعَلَ سَيِّئَةً، فَأَنَا، ، أَغْفِرُهَا مَا لَمْ يَفْعَلْهَا، فَإِذَا عَمِلَهَا، فَأَنَا أَكْتُبُهَا لَهُ بِمِثْلِهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
And the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty says, if My servant intends to do a good deed, I write it as one good deed for him. Then if he acts upon it, I write it increased tenfold. And if he intends to commit a sin, I do not write it. If he commits the sin, I write only one sin.
