Original Arabic
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ: " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكْثُرَ فِيكُمُ الْمَالُ فَيَفِيضَ (٢) ، حَتَّى يُهِمَّ رَبَّ الْمَالِ مَنْ يَتَقَبَّلُ (٣) مِنْهُ صَدَقَتَهُ " (٤)، قَالَ: " وَيُقْبَضَ الْعِلْمُ، وَيَقْتَرِبَ الزَّمَانُ (٥) ، وَتَظْهَرَ الْفِتَنُ، وَيَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ " قَالُوا: الْهَرْجُ، أَيُّمَا (٦) هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " الْقَتْلُ، الْقَتْلُ " (٧)، ،
Translation
English translation
And the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: The Hour will not be established until wealth becomes abundant among you, to the extent that a wealthy man will be anxious to find someone who will accept his charity. And the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: Soon knowledge will be taken away, time will become short, tribulations will appear, and killing will increase. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by killing? The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: Killing. Killing.
