حَدَّثَنِي هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْثٍ، فَقَالَ: " إِنْ وَجَدْتُمْ فُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا (٣) - لِرَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ - فَأَحْرِقُوهُمَا، ، بِالنَّارِ ". ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَرَدْنَا الْخُرُوجَ: " إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَمَرْتُكُمْ أَنْ تُحْرِقُوا فُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا بِالنَّارِ، وَإِنَّ النَّارَ لَا يُعَذِّبُ بِهَا إِلَّا اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَإِنْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمَا فَاقْتُلُوهُمَا " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once sent us with an army and, mentioning the names of two men from the Quraysh, said: "If you find both of them, burn them in fire." Then, when we were about to set out with the intention of departure, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I had given you the order regarding such-and-such men that you should burn them in fire, but only Allah can punish with fire. Therefore, if you find them, kill them."
