Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ مَلَكًا بِبَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ السَّمَاءِ يَقُولُ: مَنْ يُقْرِضِ الْيَوْمَ، يُجْزَى غَدًا، وَمَلَكًا بِبَابٍ آخَرَ يَقُولُ: اللهُمَّ أَعْطِ لمُنْفِقٍ (١) خَلَفًا، وَعَجِّلْ لِمُمْسِكٍ تَلَفًا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: At one of the gates of the sky, an angel is appointed who says: Who is there who will give a loan so that he may be rewarded for it tomorrow? And at another gate, an angel says: O Allah, grant a substitute to the one who spends, and quickly destroy the wealth of the one who withholds.
