حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: لَمَّا قَفَّا وَفْدُ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كُلُّ امْرِئٍ حَسِيبُ نَفْسِهِ، لِيَنْتَبِذْ كُلُّ قَوْمٍ فِيمَا بَدَا لَهُمْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the delegation of Banu Abdul Qais departed, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every person is accountable for his own self, and every nation may prepare nabidh in those vessels which they find suitable.
