حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ، ، عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ، أُلْجِمَ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If a person is asked about any matter of knowledge and he conceals it without any valid reason, then on the Day of Resurrection a bridle of fire will be put in his mouth.
