Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when food would come to the service of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) from somewhere other than his own house, he (peace be upon him) would inquire about it. If it was said that it was a gift, he (peace be upon him) would eat from it, and if it was said that it was charity, he (peace be upon him) would tell the people to eat it and would not eat it himself.
